Meet the Coach
Greg Page is entering his ninth season leading the Wildcat Football program and his twenty-fifth season coaching football overall. Coach Page’s teams have earned District VI playoff berths numerous times throughout his tenure and consistently are a top team in the Heritage Conference. Coach Page’s most successful campaign was the 2013 season that saw his squad claim the Heritage Conference Championship, District VI Championship and a berth in the PIAA playoffs. Coach Page was selected as the head coach of the Ken Lantzy Finest Forty All-Star Game in the summer of 2014.
Coach Page also serves as the Director of Athletics for Homer-Center and held the same post for the Louisburg School District in North Carolina from 1997-1999. Coach Page is a District Director for the Pennsylvania State Football Coaches Association (PSFCA), representing District 6, and is also a member of the Southern Alleghenies Football Coaches Association (SAFCA) and was selected as the head coach of the Ken Lantzy Finest Forty All-Star Game in the summer of 2013. Prior to coming to Homer-Center Coach Page served as an assistant football coach under his father and legendary coach Jerry Page at his alma mater Laurel Valley from 1989-1991 and from 2001-2006. He also served as an assistant football coach at Louisburg, North Carolina from 1997-1999.
Coach Page earned his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education from IUP in 1991 and has taught math at Louisburg, North Carolina, Purchase Line and Homer-Center since 1992. Coach Page and his wife Tracey reside in Homer City with their two daughters Kennidy and Gabrielle.
