As mandated by the PIAA, coaches, including volunteer coaches, must complete cardiac and concussion training annually. The link http://sportsafetyinternational.org/ provides webinar training that coaches can complete to meet this annual requirement. Links to the necessary training webinars are on the left sidebar at the training site. Coaches will have to enroll for both courses and there is no charge to enroll. First time visitors to the training site will have to register at the site to receive a login. Those who have registered in the past and have forgotten their user name and password can request the host of the site to email the login and password directly to your personal email account.
Once the training is complete print the certificate of completion provided from the webinar and submit the certificate to Mr. Page, Director of Athletics. Coaches hae a deadline of the first official PIAA practice date to complete this annual requirement. Coaches, including volunteers, who do not submit documentation of course completion before the first official PIAA practice date will not be permitted to participate in any team activity until the documentation is submitted to the Athletic Director.
